Relics exhibition of the Allied landing and of Second World War, is housed, also, in Sant’Angelo cloister revives, through the objects recovered, the historical phases of the operation “Husky” of 1943, the Anglo-American landing in Sicily and saw Licata as protagonist. The exhibited relics come from donations and from terrestrial and underwater finds. These are war objects of American, Italian and German soldiers, such as rifles, helmets, gas masks, uniforms, bomb cases, etc… The relics are also accompanied by photos and illustrative panels, designed to describe the finds and the various phases of this important historical event, which marked one of the pages of our country.
