The beach of Playa
embraces the east side of Licata and reaches the “Due Rocche” district; it starts in Fondachello district and then continues with the namesake of the district Playa. The whole coast is on the open sea and thanks to this the water is always clean and very fishy. There are not only fish but simply digging with the hand the sand you could find the “civa” (Sicilian name) similar to claims.
Being almost rock-free sea, it is very suitable for those who want to swim long and for sailing lovers.
The coastline is sandy, suitable for families so that thanks to its position many enjoy flying their kites. There are bathing establishments and restaurants where you can relax and enjoy good food.
Playa is well connected by urban bus service and reachable from the highway 115 or from Viale Martiri della Libertà.
Parking is on the main course and is for free.
